Mimosa is a working property is owned by Cherry and Drew who specialise in breeding and training performance sport horses and teaching dressage. If you’re interested in a riding lesson, simply let Cherry or Drew know and they will arrange a session for you. Alternatively, you can unwind on the cottage veranda and soak in the breathtaking views. Mimosa Farm offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for a weekend getaway.

The Cottage

The cottage, located next to the main homestead, is a self-contained retreat with two bedrooms, a separate bathroom and toilet, and a living space complete with a kitchenette. Stay comfortable with ducted heating/air conditioning and enjoy clean, filtered rainwater straight from the tap. Additionally, if you want to stay connected, we provide fast, unlimited Wi-Fi through Starlink for your convenience.

The main bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers a large single bed. Ample storage space is available in the huge wardrobe for all your essentials. Whether you’re hitting the beach, exploring 4WD trails, or perusing local markets, you can look forward to a touch of luxury at the cottage. With crisp linens, fluffy towels, and premium al.ive hand and body products you will feel truly pampered.

The living space overlooks a serene gum grove, providing privacy and a glimpse of wallabies grazing nearby. Additionally, there is a kitchenette that has been well-equipped for you to prepare simple meals. It includes an induction hotplate, microwave, toaster, and bar fridge. Fire up the BBQ on the verandah for a delicious surf and turf dinner paired with a glass of red wine as you watch the stunning sunset.

Please note that you’ll need to bring your own food for meals. We do provide some pantry basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, milk, and locally sourced plunger coffee.
