Located in the hills just a 15-minute drive west of Coffs Harbour, this magical retreat offers a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cottage is situated 200 meters from the road, down a picturesque asphalt-sealed driveway. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with complimentary firewood, fire starters, small sticks, and a lighter for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Additionally, for added comfort, reverse-cycle air conditioning ensures your perfect temperature year-round.

Tallowood Cottage

Tallowood Cottage, named after the majestic Tallowood Tree in the front yard, holds a rich history spanning three generations. The cottage was originally built by the owner’s grandparents and has been lovingly renovated while maintaining its original charm. The property is partially off-grid, connected to the electricity grid with a rainwater tank supply and septic system.

Inside the cottage, guests will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms with queen-sized beds, adorned with luxurious linen. The bathroom features a rain shower head and vanity, with a separate toilet. For convenience, there is a laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Also, the well-equipped kitchen boasts a six-burner induction stove, oven, and dishwasher, perfect for those who love to cook.

The cosy lounge and dining room showcase stunning local Gumbaynggirr artwork and offer breathtaking bush views. Stay connected to wifi internet access and enjoy a free Chromecast connection for video streaming. Alternatively, disconnect from devices and unwind with a movie.
